JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global's new Department of Defense client is looking to add a Government Compliance Specialist to their Mission Assurance team in Colorado Springs, CO. This individual will be a liaison of sorts, ensuring that client contracts are complaint, and that the manufacturing process can be completed for said parts.Responsibilities:
- Contract & Project Management ○ Review Navy/DoD contracts, specifications, drawings, and technical requirements to identify, communicate, and flow down project requirements.
- Compliance & Documentation ○ Prepare and submit certification packages and required project documentation throughout the product lifecycle. ○ Review engineering, testing, material, and manufacturing documentation to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. ○ Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation using customer-provided specifications and technical data.
- Process Improvement & Operational Support ○ Support continuous improvement through the development of procedures, work instructions, and training materials.

- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
- Background in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with, reading, and executing government contracts
- 2-5+ years of relative experience
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems ○ ProShop preferred Knowledge of
QA/QC PLUSSES
- Experience working with the following raw materials: ○ Copper, Nickel, Stainless Steel
- Familiarity with the following machinery: ○ Lathes, 3-5 axis mills, CNC machines
- Familiarity with the following assembly/testing processes: Pneumatic, hydraulic, PT/RT, destructive
