JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global's new Department of Defense client is looking to add a Government Compliance Specialist to their Mission Assurance team in Colorado Springs, CO. This individual will be a liaison of sorts, ensuring that client contracts are complaint, and that the manufacturing process can be completed for said parts.
Responsibilities:
  • Contract & Project Management ○ Review Navy/DoD contracts, specifications, drawings, and technical requirements to identify, communicate, and flow down project requirements.
○ Plan and organize projects by creating and maintaining ERP data, including BOMs, work orders, and project records. ○ Coordinate requirements across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, and Supply Chain to support successful project execution.
  • Compliance & Documentation ○ Prepare and submit certification packages and required project documentation throughout the product lifecycle. ○ Review engineering, testing, material, and manufacturing documentation to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. ○ Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation using customer-provided specifications and technical data.
  • Process Improvement & Operational Support ○ Support continuous improvement through the development of procedures, work instructions, and training materials.
○ Leverage ERP and project management tools to improve planning accuracy, workflow efficiency, and operational performance. ○ Follow company values, quality standards, and safety procedures while supporting additional business needs as required. MUST HAVES
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
  • Background in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with, reading, and executing government contracts
  • 2-5+ years of relative experience
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems ○ ProShop preferred Knowledge of
QA/QC PLUSSES
  • Experience working with the following raw materials: ○ Copper, Nickel, Stainless Steel
  • Familiarity with the following machinery: ○ Lathes, 3-5 axis mills, CNC machines
  • Familiarity with the following assembly/testing processes: Pneumatic, hydraulic, PT/RT, destructive
