In this pivotal role, you will ensure our organization meets all federal, state, and industry standards while managing complex claims with precision and integrity. Your proactive approach will foster a culture of compliance, quality, and continuous improvement, empowering us to deliver exceptional care and services. Responsibilities for the Regulatory Compliance Officer (RCO) role - the RSO is responsible for overseeing and performing tasks to ensure each captive insurance company is compliant with the applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and ethical standards.
Tasks include Regulatory Submittals for:
New Corporate Entity Formation New Insurance Company Licensing Corporate Dissolutions Shareholder Management and Changes Board of Directors meeting documentation and oversight including Shareholder and Board Minute Preparation & Completion Code of Ethics and Conduct Preparation and Completion Other tasks include: Review and update all contracts, feasibility studies, insurance policies annually Issuing policies and reinsurance contracts Develop, update, and enforce compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the business Investigate compliance concerns and oversee corrective action plans Serve as a liaison with regulators, actuaries, accountants and clients Develop strong working relationships with the Intuitive team, clients, regulators and actuaries Attend annual captive insurance conference Responsibilities for the Claims Administrator role - managing the full claims lifecycle, including intake, review, documentation, coordination, and resolution. In an insurance environment, this role helps ensure claims are handled accurately, timely, and in compliance with policy terms, company procedures, and applicable regulations.
Tasks include:
Receive, log, and track incoming claims. Review claim information for completeness, accuracy, and potential coverage issues. Gather supporting documents, statements, and other claim evidence. Communicate with policyholders, adjusters, attorneys, vendors, and internal teams. Coordinate investigations, follow up on missing information, and escalate complex issues. Maintain accurate claim records, notes, and file documentation. Monitor deadlines, compliance requirements, and claim status updates. Assist with claim evaluation, reserve updates, settlements, and payment processing as needed. Prepare reports, summaries, and claim activity updates for management.
Pay:
$120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
