Job Description

This is a 12-month contract role based in Deerfield Beach, Florida. The Governance and Compliance Analyst will report to the Governance and Compliance Manager and support the Information Security department in delivering a comprehensive assurance program. This position plays a critical role in providing IT governance and compliance services, including assessments, compliance program management, and assurance across the enterprise. Responsibilities Manage, measure, operationalize, and communicate compliance initiatives across the organization, including SOC 1 Type 2, MAR, NY DFS 500, CCPA, and HIPAA Conduct IT governance and compliance assessments and manage compliance programs Collaborate with business areas to align governance and compliance objectives Manage multiple complex activities and initiatives with strong project management Evaluate, build, and optimize security program elements as assigned, such as logical access control, application security, vendor risk management, network security, and privacy Conduct research to stay current with emerging security issues, third-party vendors, and applications Work with auditors to support compliance efforts Qualifications Required Knowledge of controls frameworks and applicable regulatory compliance mandates, including
NIST, CIS CSC, COBIT, CCPA, HIPAA, GLBA, SOC 1
Type 2, and MAR Working knowledge of governance and compliance, including policy, process, governance, controls frameworks, and regulatory environments Project management skills for managing multiple complex activities Strong organizational skills with ability to thrive in a fast-paced, sense-of-urgency environment Experience working with auditors Preferred Knowledge to evaluate, build, and optimize security program elements across multiple domains Familiarity with best practices in governance and compliance operations
