This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced industrial setting and enjoys balancing hands-on safety responsibilities with administrative and compliance analysis. This role will work closely with the Operational Excellence and SHE Managers to support company-wide safety initiatives, compliance programs, employee health tracking, fleet compliance, and environmental reporting. The Operational Compliance Analyst focuses on compliance and safety-health-&-environmental tasks, such as reporting, maintaining employee and company files, preventing workplace incidents, and safety equipment maintenance. This role works with the Operational Excellence, and the Environmental, Health & Safety Managers to help improve the overall compliance and management systems of the workplace.

RESPONSIBILITIES
General Maintain incidents logs Manage AIS site incident investigations and documentation Follow and exercise document control process Provide off-site incident assistance as needed Complete and maintain HIPA certification Support PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycles of the management systems Participate in management systems audits (e.g., ISO, DOT, internal auditing, etc.) Serve as backup to OEM and SHE Managers as directed, when needed, and for specified tasks and with specified authority at the time of the request. Other duties as assigned Safety Manage respiratory protection program to include respirator fit testing machine maintenance and calibration; respirators maintenance (repair, clean, dry, bag, and tag); completing respirator fit testing of new hires; hands-on training of respirator uses for new hires; complete annual recurring respirator fit testing based on Training Coordinator report; maintenance and calibration of the breathing air boxes. Manage gas detection monitors. Complete maintenance and calibration per schedule. Monitor and ensure proper working order and information on DSX Server (Docking Station Server Admin Console); provide training on use of the monitor and the docking station, as needed. Manage fall protection program to include harness and lanyard inspections and maintenance; equipment identification and inventory for inspection purposes; fitting of equipment for new hires, assigning size, and keeping records. Maintain, clean, inspect, and calibrate (if required) safety equipment such as blowers, ducts, air horns, rope lifelines, rope ladder, breathing air scape packs, SCBAs, breathing air hoses, spare breathing air cylinders, portable pressurized eye wash station, tripods, winches, etc. Complete site safety audits. These include but are not limited to fire extinguishers, lift inspections, wash pad operations, general site conditions, portable ladder inspections, first aid cabinets, etc. Manage site's chemical approval process (Hazcom) Maintain Safety Data Sheets for chemical inventory at the site (Hazcom) Conduct chemical inventory audits (Hazcom) Health Access and retrieve all health documentation - save in secured file Analyze health information data for: audio testing; vision testing; pulmonary function testing (PFT); blood lead levels, etc. and report out-of-range, abnormal, or significant threshold shifts. Maintain health information records and charts for all employees Notify division managers and coordinators of employee Hep-B series schedule Audit Hep-B series vaccinations for completion Environmental Conduct monthly SPCCP (Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure Plan) audits Conduct monthly audit of used oil quantities transported, received, and shipped Provide monthly report on transported waste Complete annual used oil transport report Fleet Maintain company's Driver Qualification Files (DQF) to include but not limited to management of DQF through a Third-Party Administrator (TPA) such as JJ Keller's DataSense, maintaining an internal system of those records and files, communicating with all personnel affected by the DQF (drivers and their managers), coordinating and completing DOT D&A quarterly randoms, etc. Maintain drivers lists updated (e.g., Drivers List, Samsara, DataSense, etc) Review fleet camera footage for driver performance and issue coaching suggestions to divisions Complete periodic reporting of Ineligible and Limited Drivers Report to management Conduct periodic DVIR audits to include field verification of equipment, per schedule Maintain Driver Vehicle Examination Reports (DVERs) and Traffic Citations Complete vehicle audits per schedule: CMV labeling; phone holders; documentation; DOT inspections; USDOT designation and company labeling for rentals, fire extinguishers, etc. In coordination with HR, complete external Driver Safety Performance History Requests (SPHRR) Other (Limited) Serve as backup to HR's Skill Development Specialist for MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform) hands-on training (as needed) Serve as backup to HR's Skill Development Specialist for Confined Space Attendant, Entrant, Supervisor, and Rescue (as needed) Serve as backup to HR's Skill Development Specialist for Road Tests (as needed) Provide formatting maintenance and auditing of the training matrix (as needed).
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on operational excellence and process improvement. Detail-oriented. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to lift to 25 pounds at a time. 8am - 5pm (EST)
