Job Description
The ADTS (Eng/Chemist/Specialist) - Global Compliance Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring our products comply with all relevant regulations and standards, and is responsible for managing various compliance-related tasks. A bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field is preferred. Equivalent work experience will also be considered. At least 5 years of regulatory and compliance experience in the chemical industry, preferably in the context of screen-printing inks or related sectors. Previous experience working with regulations, such as ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals), REACH, FDA and TSCA is required. Preferred experience in the textile industry, with exposure to OEKO - TEX, Eco Passport, and/or Bluesign certifications. Other Qualifications Strong knowledge of international regulatory frameworks and standards related to chemical substances and materials. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to handle compliance-related investigations and resolutions. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders. Ability to adapt to changing regulatory environments and implement necessary compliance adjustments. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; sit; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 55 pounds. Specific vision abilities may require close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Requires the use of safety equipment as dictated by the work area such as safety glasses and shoes, hard hat, face shield, gloves, etc. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; and explosives.
