The Senior Compliance Analyst is responsible for planning, managing, and implementing the company's regulatory compliance program to ensure adherence to applicable federal and state insurance laws, regulations, and industry standards. The role serves as a key advisor to executive management and the Board of Directors on compliance, regulatory, ethics, and risk management matters. The Senior Compliance Analyst monitors regulatory developments, conducts compliance assessments, manages regulatory examinations, and fosters a culture of compliance across the organization. What You'll Do Regulatory Compliance Plan, manage, maintain, and implement updates to the company's compliance management program, including training, policies, standards, and procedures. Monitor federal and state insurance laws, regulations, and regulatory guidance and assess impact on the organization. Ensure compliance with insurance department requirements, NAIC model laws, market conduct standards, regulatory filings, and licensing obligations. Oversee compliance with consumer protection, privacy, cybersecurity, anti-money laundering (AML), OFAC, and anti-fraud requirements. Coordinate and manage responses to regulatory inquiries, examinations, and investigations. Corporate Governance Assist with Board and committee reporting related to compliance, regulatory matters, and emerging risks. Promote a strong culture of ethics, integrity, and regulatory compliance throughout the organization. Compliance Monitoring and Risk Assessment Conduct periodic compliance risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies. Design and execute compliance monitoring and testing programs. Ensure timely completion of compliance reports, attestations, and disclosures. Review business processes and controls to identify regulatory risks and recommend corrective actions. What We're Looking ForEducation Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Law, or related field required. Juris Doctor (JD) and active member in good standing with the Hawaii State Bar Association, Master's degree, CRCM, CCEP, or similar professional certification preferred. Experience 10+ years of compliance, legal, audit, risk management, or regulatory experience. all levels of Experience interacting with regulators and managing regulatory examinations. Strong knowledge of operations, underwriting, distribution, claims, and corporate governance. Extensive knowledge of state regulations, NAIC requirements, and regulatory examination processes. Understanding of AML, OFAC, data privacy, cybersecurity, anti-fraud, and consumer protection requirements. Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
