Job Description

Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union (HCFCU) is looking for qualified candidates to fill the open position for Compliance Specialist position. Under the supervision of the Compliance Officer, provides administrative support for all activities associated with the Credit Union's Compliance program. Carries out compliance-related functions to meet the operational and administrative objectives of the Credit Union.
Specialist Primary Functions:
Assists with Verafin alerts and takes actions accordingly Knowledge of laws and regulations that impact the Credit Union's compliance requirements with emphasis on the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), PATRIOT ACT, and OFAC Assists with the implementation of Credit Union's policies, procedures, products and programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations Assists in the coordination of compliance audits and exams Assists with the revision and/or design of forms, products, website, programs, or promotions to ensure compliance with all State and Federal rules and regulations Assists with the implementation of record retention policies and procedures in accordance with regulations and laws Assists with monitoring and auditing of various reports and takes action accordingly Performs monthly audits on various reports Prepares and submits daily and weekly Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) Reviews daily and weekly BSA reports and takes action on follow up items accordingly Assists with compliance training programs Performs initial setup of staff profiles within various programs as it relates to the compliance department
Qualifications:
High School graduate/GED equivalent with (2) + years related work experience; or College graduate with (1) + year related work experience

$41,000.00 - $59,000.00 per year
