Job Description

Siouxland Community Health Center has an opening for: Compliance Coordinator 1 -
Full-time ON Site Position Hours:
Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm Successful candidate must have solid experience & advanced knowledge of:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or in a related field of study or a combination of equivalent education and experience. Obtain Certification in Health Care Compliance within 2 years. Knowledge of key risk areas, previous compliance experience, understanding of key compliance requirements, previous experience with compliance audits. Strong analytical and communication skills. Attention to detail. Ability to meet deadlines. Successful candidate must be able to perform primary functions of position: Conduct routine and targeted internal compliance audits Prepare audit reports summarizing findings, trends, and recommended corrective actions Track corrective action plans and follow up to ensure timely resolution Develop routine monitoring plans in collaboration with each department leader Assist with compliance and privacy incident intake, documentation, investigation, and mitigation Support data collection for risk assessments, site visits, and other external audits Assist with developing compliance and privacy training presentations and learning materials Assist with developing and maintaining compliance program policies and procedures Monitor deadlines to ensure formal performance evaluations are completed prior to contract renewal or extensions These functions are not all inclusive Siouxland Community Health Center provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to any characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
