Job Description

The Surgery Center of Idaho (SCI) is seeking a full-time Regulatory Compliance Coordinator - RN to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a nurse who enjoys combining clinical knowledge with quality improvement, infection prevention, regulatory compliance, and staff education all while remaining connected to patient care. This position offers a schedule that is difficult to find in healthcare with 4 ten hour day shifts, no weekends and no holidays. About the Position The Regulatory Compliance Coordinator plays an important role in supporting the quality, safety, and continued success of our surgery center. This position oversees and supports SCI's Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Program and Infection Control Program, assists with regulatory and accreditation readiness, and provides education and professional development for our nursing team. The position also provides peri-operative clinical support when needed, allowing the Coordinator to remain engaged with our clinical team and patient care while balancing primary regulatory and quality responsibilities. What You'll Do
  • Lead and support SCI's infection prevention and control program, including surveillance, data collection, education, facility rounds, and identification of opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate and support the QAPI program, including quality indicators, audits, data analysis, performance improvement projects, and required reporting.
  • Help ensure ongoing compliance with applicable federal and state regulations,accreditation requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Work collaboratively with leadership to develop, review, and maintain policies, procedures, action plans, and compliance documentation.
  • Provide education and professional development opportunities that strengthen the knowledge and clinical skills of our nursing team.
  • Promote a culture focused on patient safety, quality, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
  • Maintain clinical competency and assist as a peri-operative float RN when operational or staffing needs require additional support.
What We're Looking For We are looking for an RN who is organized, collaborative, detail-oriented, and genuinely interested in making systems and patient care better.
Qualifications include:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Current Idaho RN license in good standing Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications Minimum of two years of professional RN experience Ambulatory surgery center experience preferred Strong understanding of nursing standards and clinical practice Knowledge of infection prevention, surveillance, chart review, sterilization, disinfection, and sanitation practices Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to organize, analyze, and communicate quality and performance data Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, leadership, and other members of the healthcare team Why Join Surgery Center of Idaho?
