Additional Information:
This role is located in Morton, IL and does not offer relocation. This role is 1st shift, Monday- Friday.
What You Will Do:
Evaluate import and export operations to ensure compliance with applicable global trade laws, regulations, and company policies. Support day-to-day global trade operations by addressing operational issues and assisting with compliance-related activities. Partner with business stakeholders to answer questions, resolve issues, and provide guidance on trade compliance matters. Maintain trade compliance records and documentation in accordance with regulatory and company requirements. Prepare analyses, reports, and supporting materials for review related to trade compliance inquiries and activities. Participate in trade compliance audits by reviewing processes, transactions, and documentation to identify potential risks and compliance gaps. Collaborate with import/export teams to communicate audit findings and support the development of corrective action plans. Conduct root cause analysis and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions resulting from audit findings. Support supplemental duty payment processes, including coordinating approvals and ensuring timely resolution. Assist with documentation requests and data submissions for duty drawback providers and related trade programs. Monitor compliance trends and recommend process improvements to strengthen global trade controls and reduce risk. Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance trade compliance processes, reporting, and operational effectiveness. What You Have (Basic Requirements): Accuracy and Attention toDetail:

Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.Data Gathering and Reporting:
Knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company.Standard Operating Procedures:
Knowledge of established standard operating procedures (SOP); ability to design, implement and evaluate standard operating procedures affecting daily and strategic business operations in order to increase operational efficiency. What Will Set You Apart (Top Candidates Will Have): Knowledge of international trade regulations, practices, and operations, with the ability to apply that knowledge in diverse business situations. Prior auditing, trade compliance, customs, or regulatory compliance experience. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to investigate data, identify issues, and determine root causes. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with large datasets. Proven problem-solving abilities and experience driving corrective actions and process improvements. Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage recurring audit deadlines and multiple priorities. Demonstrated learning agility and a willingness to quickly develop expertise in trade compliance and audit processes.What You Will Get:
