Job Duties:
We are seeking an Import / Export Specialist to manage day-to-day international trade compliance and support inbound and outbound shipments across the organization. This role will be responsible for customs classification, documentation, broker coordination, regulatory compliance, and ensuring accurate and efficient cross-border movement of equipment and parts. Key ResponsibilitiesManage import and export compliance for inbound and outbound shipmentsMaintain accurate HTS/HS classifications and country-of-origin information for machines, equipment, and partsWork with customs brokers and freight forwarders to ensure accurate and timely customs filingsRespond to requests from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and customs brokers regarding classification, units of measure, manufacturers, valuation, and other trade informationMonitor and maintain customs bonds in the U.S. and Canada, including renewals and utilizationMonitor trade compliance systems and customs portals, including ACE and other platformsPrepare and review commercial invoices and export documentationSupport specialized cross-border transactions, including temporary imports/exports, TIBs, carnets, USMCA/CUSMA, repairs, and other duty-saving programs Why Work Here?
