Food Labeling Compliance Specialist Woodridge (Onsite) $75,000 - $85,000 About the Role We're looking for a Food Labeling Compliance Specialist to support labeling and regulatory compliance across a portfolio of international food products. This role focuses on ensuring all product labels meet FDA, USDA, and state requirements , while working closely with internal teams and global suppliers. What You'll Do Review and update product labels for FDA (21 CFR), USDA, and state compliance Verify Nutrition Facts, ingredient statements, allergen declarations, and claims Manage label updates due to formulation or regulatory changes Conduct high-volume label reviews across multiple products Work with suppliers to gather and confirm label documentation Partner with QA, Marketing, and Procurement teams Identify and resolve compliance issues Support SOPs and labeling processes What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field 3-5+ years of experience in food labeling/compliance Strong knowledge of FDA food labeling (21 CFR Part 101) Hands-on experience with: Nutrition Facts panels Ingredient & allergen labeling FDA Food Labeling Certification (required) Strong attention to detail and organization Nice to Have Experience with Genesis R&D, TraceGains, or similar systems Experience with imported food products or global suppliers Knowledge of Organic, Non-GMO, Halal, Kosher certifications FSVP, PCQI, or HACCP certification Schedule Monday-Friday 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Benefits Full benefits package (medical, dental, vision) 401(k) with match PTO + company holidays Career growth in a fast-growing organization MOHR Talent is an equal-opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local nondiscrimination laws.
