Needham, MA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $20 - $25 an hour 8 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Home healthcare agency administrative experience Administrative experience Russian Home health agency experience Full Job Description Office Assistant - AFC & GAFC Neighborhood Home Health Care, Inc. | Needham, MA Neighborhood Home Health Care, Inc. is looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our AFC and GAFC office in Needham, MA. This is a full-time, in-office position supporting the administrative, documentation, and compliance needs of our home health care programs. The ideal candidate is someone who is responsible, organized, professional, has excellent communication skills, and is able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while following through on details. Responsibilities Manage and maintain patient charts and records. Manage monthly patient note schedules and track required documentation for all patients. Monitor charts for missing, incomplete, or overdue paperwork and follow up until documentation is received. Communicate regularly with Home Health Aides, RNs, Case Managers, and other field staff regarding required documentation and patient needs. Communicate with doctors' offices and healthcare providers regarding required forms and medical documentation. Follow up with doctors' offices on outstanding physician forms and paperwork. Prepare and send semi-annual form schedules and track completion. Maintain organized electronic and paper patient files. Assist with HR administrative responsibilities and employee documentation. Run and monitor required compliance reports, including
CORI, SORI, OIG
, and other required screenings and compliance documentation. Track employee paperwork, credentials, required forms, and expiration dates. Assist with audits, compliance reviews, and preparation of required documentation. Maintain confidentiality of patient and employee information. Provide general administrative and office support as needed. What We Are Looking For The successful candidate should be: Highly organized and detail-oriented Reliable, responsible, and punctual A strong verbal and written communicator Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Comfortable following up with staff, doctors' offices, and other professionals Able to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities Professional and comfortable working in a healthcare environment Comfortable using email, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, electronic records, and other office systems Able to handle confidential information appropriately
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
