Senior Compliance Specialist Summary We are looking for a seasoned Senior Compliance Specialist to spearhead our regulatory adherence initiatives within the dynamic Real Estate and Property Management industry. This essential position is tasked with guaranteeing that all business operations strictly conform to federal mandates, with a particular emphasis on LITHC and HUD regulations. The successful candidate will act as the chief steward of our regulatory standards, executing rigorous audits, reducing legal exposure, and cultivating an organizational culture rooted in accountability. This role is vital for preserving our industry reputation and securing the ongoing eligibility of our housing programs. Responsibilities Direct and enforce adherence to all applicable federal housing statutes, with specialized expertise in LITHC and HUD guidelines. Execute comprehensive internal audits and risk evaluations to detect potential regulatory gaps or procedural weaknesses. Create, revise, and roll out robust compliance policies and standard operating procedures designed for the unique challenges of property management. Must have prior supervisory experience Act as the main liaison for external regulatory agencies during official inspections and investigations. Deliver expert training and strategic guidance to property management staff regarding regulatory changes and industry best practices. Continuously monitor operational activities to ensure reporting and documentation meet government standards with precision. Partner with executive leadership to embed compliance strategies into the company's broader business goals. #
Recruit Requirements Requirements:
Demonstrated professional background in property management, including a proven track record of navigating LITHC and HUD regulatory frameworks. Extensive understanding of federal housing legislation, fair housing rules, and compliance reporting obligations. Superior analytical capabilities with the aptitude to decipher complex legal statutes and apply them effectively to daily operations. Exceptional written and oral communication skills, capable of drafting detailed reports and presenting findings to key stakeholders. Unwavering integrity and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring absolute precision in all compliance documentation. Proven ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities within a fast-paced environment. Competitive compensation package offering $33/hour.
