This is primarily a driving position with additional compliance and recordkeeping responsibilities. It offers consistent work, overtime when applicable, and daily home time. Driving Responsibilities Safely transport refrigerated products from processing plants to our distribution facility Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain accurate ELD and hours-of-service records Monitor and document refrigerated trailer temperatures Complete bills of lading and other required transportation paperwork Inspect the tractor, trailer, reefer unit, seals, and load condition Report mechanical, safety, temperature, or compliance concerns immediately Follow DOT, FMCSA, food-safety, sanitation, and company procedures Maintain a clean tractor cab and properly care for assigned equipment DOT Compliance Responsibilities Organize and maintain driver qualification files Track CDL and DOT medical-card expiration dates Assist with motor vehicle record reviews Monitor ELD and hours-of-service compliance Track annual DOT inspection dates Maintain vehicle inspection, maintenance, and repair records Organize drug and alcohol testing documentation Maintain roadside-inspection reports and corrective-action records Assist with accident and incident documentation Help management prepare records for DOT or FMCSA reviews Notify management of upcoming deadlines, missing documents, and compliance concerns Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License Current DOT medical certificate Acceptable motor vehicle record Ability to pass DOT-required drug and alcohol testing Ability to meet FMCSA driver-qualification requirements Tractor-trailer driving experience Previous DOT or FMCSA compliance recordkeeping experience Knowledge of driver qualification files, ELDs, hours-of-service rules, and vehicle inspections Strong organizational, communication, and recordkeeping skills Ability to maintain accurate and confidential records Refrigerated transportation experience preferred To apply, please submit your resume or work history and briefly explain which DOT or FMCSA compliance records you have personally managed.
