Clinical Compliance & Accreditation Records Coordinator
Job Description
This individual is responsible for clinical compliance documentation and accreditation/regulatory records management across all School of Nursing program options. This individual is required to have extensive computer knowledge to maintain compliance-tracking systems, accreditation evidence files, spreadsheets, and web-based applilcations, and to manage sensitive student and faculty records with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality. Qualifications summary This position requires excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task, prioritze work, and shift priorities to meet demands. A high attention to detail and the ability to manage confidiential student and faculty information on compliance tracking software is required. Advanced computer skills and a Bachelor's degree are preferred. Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing. Duties and responsibilities Clinical Compliance Tracking Tracks and verifies student compliance for practicum placement Follows up with students and clinical facilities Maintains and updates clinical compliance tracking system Notifies faculty and the Clinical Director of any students who are not cleared for practicum Clinical Agreement & Certificates of Insurance Drafts, tracks, and maintains clinical affiliation agreements and Certificates of Insurance (COI) Monitors affiliation agreement and COI expiration dates Maintains a master log of active clinical sites and requirements Accreditation & Regulatory Evidence Management Maintains program's accreditation repository for regulatory bodies Compiles and organizes student and faculty files Supports preparation of annual and requested regulatory submissions Implements and maintains a record management matrix General Program Support Assists the Chair and the Program Operations and Student Success Coordinator with data compilation for curriculum and program review meetings Performs other related duties as assigned by the Department Chair Supervisory responsibilities None Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage confidential student and faculty records Experience with clinical tracking software (Exxat) preferred Familiarity with nursing accreditation standards (ACEN) preferred Abiity to effectively work with diverse groups Polished written and verbal communication skills Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing. Technical competencies Experience in healthcare compliance, higher education records management, or accreditation support preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Exxat, and Adobe Acrobat Interpersonal interactions Ability to expressively and receptively communicate in English Possess critical inquiry skills and judgment necessary to successfully interact with faculty and students, families and other program support staff Physical demands The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require some lifting (at least 20 lbs), carrying, pushing, and or pulling; some stooping, kneeling, crouching and significant fine finger dexterity. Work environment Work is performed in a typical shared office environment with moderate noise level.
