Front office and compliance Michigan Counseling Group Roseville, MI Job Details Part-time | Full-time $17 - $26 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Google Workspace Office activity coordination Attention to detail Meeting facilitation Internal audits Full Job Description Front Office & Compliance Coordinator Lumin Wellness - Roseville, Michigan Lumin Wellness is seeking a dependable, highly organized Front Office & Compliance Coordinator to support the daily administrative and compliance operations of our opioid treatment program. This is a hands-on position for someone who is comfortable working in a healthcare environment, enjoys keeping an office organized, and can help management stay on top of compliance requirements, meetings, documentation, and day-to-day operations. Early-morning availability is important for this position , as Lumin Wellness begins operations early in the morning. Key Responsibilities Assist with front office operations and help ensure the office runs smoothly and professionally. Answer incoming telephone calls, route calls appropriately, take messages, and assist patients and outside organizations as needed. Help organize the office, maintain administrative files, and ensure important documents are easy to locate. Assist management with healthcare compliance activities and maintaining required documentation. Help track compliance deadlines, reviews, audits, training requirements, policies, and other regulatory items. Assist with preparation for CARF accreditation surveys and ongoing CARF compliance . Maintain and organize CARF documentation, evidence, policies, meeting records, and compliance materials. Knowledge or previous experience with CARF standards is strongly preferred but not required . Help identify missing documentation and follow up with appropriate staff members. Assist with internal audits and compliance reviews. Help organize staff, leadership, committee, and Governing Board meetings. Prepare meeting agendas, organize supporting documents, take notes/minutes when needed, and track follow-up items. Maintain organized electronic and physical records. Assist management with scheduling, correspondence, reports, forms, and general administrative projects. Communicate professionally with patients, employees, regulatory agencies, vendors, and community partners. Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA and other applicable healthcare privacy requirements. Assist with general office needs and other administrative or compliance-related duties as assigned. This Position Does NOT Include This is not an accounting or bookkeeping position . Accounting experience is not required, and the employee will not be responsible for managing the organization's financial records. Qualifications Strong organizational and administrative skills. Comfortable working with computers, email, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and electronic records. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and follow-up items. Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate documentation. Professional and comfortable communicating by telephone. Able to work independently while also working closely with management and clinical staff. Comfortable working in a regulated healthcare environment. Reliable and able to consistently work an early-morning schedule . Healthcare, behavioral health, substance use treatment, accreditation, regulatory, or compliance experience is helpful. CARF knowledge or accreditation experience is a plus. Experience with HIPAA, healthcare policies and procedures, audits, or regulatory documentation is also a plus. Ideal Candidate The ideal person is someone who naturally keeps things organized, notices when something is missing, follows through without needing constant reminders, and is comfortable helping management maintain a compliant and well-run organization. You do not need to be an attorney or longtime compliance professional. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, willing to learn, comfortable with healthcare regulations, and capable of becoming very familiar with CARF requirements and Lumin Wellness policies.
