Experience Proven experience working within affordable housing programs such as Section 8 is essential. Strong knowledge of Fair Housing regulations, HUD policies, and property management tools is required. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with culturally diverse communities and underserved populations. Experience providing case management or social services support to individuals experiencing homelessness or mental health conditions. Skilled in negotiation, crisis intervention, motivational interviewing, and crisis management techniques. Familiarity with landlord-tenant law, addiction counseling approaches, and high-risk population support strategies is highly desirable.
