Job Description
Position Summary:
Carlo'sBakery is seeking a highly organized and proactive Shift ComplianceCoordinator to support daily workforce operations, employee compliance, andfacility monitoring. This position is responsible for overseeing employeeclock-ins, breaks, attendance compliance, uniform usage, workplace securitypresence, parking compliance, and ensuring employees remain at their assignedworkstations during scheduled shifts. The idealcandidate is detail-oriented, observant, professional, and comfortableenforcing company policies in a fast-paced production and retail environment. Responsibilities- Monitor employee clock-in, clock-out, and breakpunches.
- Verify employees are following scheduled breakand attendance procedures.
- Identify missed punches, attendanceirregularities, or policy violations.
- Maintain attendance logs and communicateconcerns to management and HR.
- Assist with timekeeping corrections anddocumentation when needed.
- Monitor employee uniform usage and compliancewith company appearance, safety, and GMP standards.
- Ensure employees are properly geared beforeentering designated work areas.
- Address and report uniform, PPE, or complianceissues to management.
- Conduct routine walkthroughs of the facility toensure employees are at their assigned workstations.
- Monitor workflow presence, break room activity,and adherence to operational expectations.
- Communicate staffing, attendance, or operationalconcerns to supervisors.
- Serve as an on-site security presence within thebuilding.
- Monitor employee and visitor activity indesignated areas.
- Support building access awareness and reportsuspicious activity, safety concerns, or unauthorized access.
- Frequently walk around the building and parkingareas to ensure vehicles display valid parking permits.
- Monitor parking compliance and reportunauthorized vehicles or parking violations to management.
- Help maintain a safe, secure, and orderlyworkplace environment.
- Maintain accurate records related to attendance,compliance observations, incidents, and parking compliance concerns.
- Partner with HR, Operations, and Managementteams on employee compliance matters.
- Support additional operational orcompliance-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in operations, security, HRsupport, manufacturing, production, or workforce monitoring preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and observationalskills.
- Ability to professionally enforce policies andprocedures.
- Strong communication and conflict-resolutionskills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced bakery,production, or retail environment.
- Basic computer and documentation skillspreferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to move throughout production, office,parking lots, and common areas.
- Ability to observe workplace activity andmaintain awareness of facility operations.
