We are seeking an experienced Compliance Consultant to support a life sciences company on a remote, part-time consulting basis. This role is ideal for a compliance or regulatory professional with deep, hands-on experience in Sunshine Act/Open Payments , HCP speaker program auditing , and broader life sciences compliance activities. This consultant will provide subject matter expertise and audit support related to healthcare professional (HCP) engagements, promotional review, and safety reporting associated with speaker programs. This is a remote part-time contract role with flexible work schedule of about 5 hours a week.

Key Responsibilities:

Review HCP contracting and payment integrity processes, including: Fair Market Value (FMV) determination and rate-setting, Exclusion and debarment screening, Sunshine Act/Open Payments reporting, Competitor benchmarking and Validation that services, rates, and expenses align with executed consulting agreements Assess promotional content and regulatory review controls, including: Review of speaker decks for substantive and compliant content, Identification of potential off-label promotion concerns, Fair balance review and Confirmation that MLR approvals are properly retained in Veeva PromoMats Evaluate safety reporting workflows tied to speaker programs, including: Adverse events, Safety findings, Product complaints and Documentation, reporting, and proper disposition of findings Participate in discussions regarding live speaker program observation, including potential review of: Venue appropriateness, Meals and hospitality, Attendee presence and legitimacy, and Delivery of approved content Strong experience in life sciences or medical device compliance/regulatory affairs Hands-on expertise with HCP speaker programs Solid knowledge of: Sunshine Act / Open Payments Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS) Fair Market Value (FMV) MLR review processes Exclusion/debarment screening Adverse event and safety reporting Experience conducting audits, compliance reviews, or advisory support in a regulated environment Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote, flexible consulting capacity Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
