Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Grant Finance & Compliance Coordinator to join our team. In this vital role, you will oversee the financial management and regulatory compliance of grant-funded projects, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and organizational policies. Your expertise will help facilitate seamless grant operations, manage contractual obligations, and support strategic initiatives that advance our mission. Responsibilities Manage and monitor grant budgets, ensuring accurate tracking of expenditures and adherence to funding guidelines. Oversee vendor management processes, including selecting vendors, negotiating terms, and maintaining strong contractor relationships. Review and process procurement documents in compliance with federal acquisition regulations and organizational policies using platforms such as DocuSign and PeopleSoft. Conduct thorough document management and recordkeeping for all grant-related contracts, proposals, amendments, and correspondence. Ensure compliance with grant requirements, legal standards—including intellectual property law—and regulatory frameworks governing public sector purchasing and government contracts. Lead contract review sessions, negotiate terms with vendors or partners, and manage contract lifecycle from drafting through renewal or termination. Support grant project management activities by coordinating proposal writing, technical documentation, pricing strategies, and strategic planning efforts. Facilitate change management initiatives related to procurement procedures or compliance updates across teams. Conduct research on procurement regulations such as the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) to ensure organizational practices remain current. Prepare reports on financial status, compliance issues, and project milestones for internal stakeholders and funding agencies. Skills Extensive vendor management experience with a focus on procurement regulatory knowledge and government contract management. Strong document review skills with proficiency in legal drafting, technical writing, and business development documentation. Expertise in compliance management across federal regulations including FAR; familiarity with grant management systems like PeopleSoft is preferred. Excellent records management skills for maintaining organized documentation of contracts, proposals, amendments, and correspondence. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and analysis; experience with DocuSign for electronic signatures is advantageous. Negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with vendors while ensuring organizational compliance standards are met. Knowledge of public sector purchasing processes and contractor management best practices. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail; experience in research and strategic planning is beneficial. Effective communication skills for engaging stakeholders across departments; experience in proposal writing and technical documentation is a plus. Familiarity with business management principles related to grants and procurement; ability to adapt to change within dynamic environments.
