QUALITY COMPLIANCE ANALYST
(PA) : Lab Science Degree and Lab Experience Required

Our teams, led by highly experienced Ph.D. 's and analytical chemists, hold accuracy, customer service, and rapid turnaround time as our primary commitments to the medical and recreational cannabis cultivators and processors we serve. Employees may be exposed to common allergens and must be comfortable working with/near cannabis related products.
QUALITY COMPLIANCE ANALYST I SCHEDULE
Facilities are open 365 days/year, 7 days per week including holidays. We are currently hiring for both the AM and PM shifts. Assigned schedule may include work on holidays and either Saturday or Sunday.
QUALITY COMPLIANCE ANALYST I POSITION SUMMARY
This is an analytical position responsible for the input and interpretation of data relevant to laboratory testing procedures and quality assurance measures. Provides for the calibration of equipment, instrument tuning/equipment maintenance and backup staff support.
QUALITY COMPLIANCE ANALYST I ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Daily work involves the use of various types of scientific instrumentation, lab equipment and complex computer programs to review data or findings and laboratory sample and quality management. Coordinates sample intake, including the verification of samples, evaluation of requested testing needs, and collection/scanning of completed data sheets. Manages instrument certification, including reviewing loaded samples and quality control; may also include coordinating instrument maintenance, validation and verification. Aids QC Analyst II with sample data review, including confirming correct instrument data transcription and agreement with previously tested samples Aids in the prioritization of workflow, and sample preparation to help ensure lab efficiencies; provides backup support for Lab Technicians and Analysts Assists in the collection of data/information for special projects Monitors environmental logs and equipment logs throughout the laboratory; adjusts out of spec equipment as needed Reviews sample manifests for intake processing errors Maintains organization of vendor CoAs, instrument calibration certificates, and other records Reviews loaded samples and verifies quality controls for laboratory instruments and methods; uses data to recognize and alert the proper analyst and/or management member of possible processing errors Performs other job-related duties as assigned
QUALITY COMPLIANCE ANALYST I POSITION REQUIREMENTS
General Knowledge/Abilities Ability to fluently speak and read the English language along with understanding and following both written and verbal direction Ability to function independently, have personal integrity, flexibility and the ability to work effectively with fellow employees Analytical and numerical skills: ability to perform mathematical calculations in different units of measurement Experience in driving tasks and meeting deadlines; accountable for the completion of assigned goals and objectives; demonstrated abilities in troubleshooting and problem-solving Basic knowledge of modern office practices and use of Microsoft Office Suite for Word and Excel Ability to build relationships to strengthen partnerships with a focus on customer service Ability to perform physically demanding work such as moving and lifting equipment, standing for long periods of time, etc. Education, Licenses/Certifications Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field from an accredited college with a minimum of 1 year post-graduate experience in an analytical laboratory setting
