AVP Enterprise Compliance Testing (Hybrid) The Bancorp United States, South Dakota, Sioux Falls Mar 20, 2026 AVP Enterprise Compliance Testing (Hybrid) Job Location US-DE-Wilmington | US-SD-Sioux Falls Type Full Time Overview •This position is available as a hybrid position in our Wilmington, DE or Sioux Falls, SD office.•Assists in the leadership, execution, quality oversight, and continuous enhancement of the Enterprise Compliance Testing Program within the second line of defense. Ensures compliance testing across assigned lines of business (e.g., prepaid, lending, operations, etc.) and to related functional support areas are in accordance with applicable Federal regulations, internal standards, and industry best practices as part of The Bancorp's Compliance Risk Management Program. Responsibilities Essential Functions Develops and maintains a collaborative working relationship with internal and external stakeholders, including FinTech Solutions Client Services, Financial Crimes Risk Management, Monitoring and Oversight, Audit, Third-Party Risk, and various business lines. Assesses the adequacy of The Bancorp policies and procedures and performs second line of defense functions against regulatory requirements, including but not limited to: Regulations
E, CC, DD, B, Z, O, M, UDAAP/ UDAP, GLBA, E-SIGN, SCRA, MLA, FCRA, CAN
SPAM, Reg ii, Reg GG, and 1099 INT Rules. Assists in the development, execution, and ongoing maintenance of the annual Compliance Testing Schedule, including defining testing scope, methodology, sampling strategies, and workpaper standards. Reviews and challenges testing workpapers, sampling methodologies, findings, and reports completed by team members to ensure consistency, accuracy, regulatory alignment, and examination readiness. Presents testing results to Compliance Leadership, clearly articulating areas of concern, root causes, and associated regulatory risk. Serves as a subject matter expert on effectiveness of compliance controls, providing guidance and direction to less experiences team members and other department partners. Oversees the validation of corrective actions taken in response to findings identified through compliance testing, internal audits, regulatory exams, and risk assessments, ensuring remediation efforts are sustainable and address root causes. Supports the management of compliance-related audits and regulatory exams, including documentation preparation, audit engagement, and implementation of recommended actions. Contributes to the enhancement of testing methodologies, documentation standards, reporting framework, and quality assurance processes to strengthen second line of defense effectiveness and credibility. If assigned, manages compliance analyst team members, creating a flexible and energized work environment to foster an atmosphere that enables employee trust and engagement, inspires confidence and motivates others to perform at their best. Performs other duties as assigned. No travel required. Qualifications Education/Experience Requirements Undergraduate degree in business or a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience. 5 years consumer compliance experience in the banking or financial services industry, specifically experience within or supporting a line of business. Preferred Requirements CRCM, CCBCO or other compliance certification preferred. Strong knowledge of federal consumer protection laws affecting lending, deposit and payments-related products and services. and/or payments product knowledge and experience. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Detail oriented with strong organizational skills. A team player able to work effectively in a team fostered, multi-tasking environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
