Up to 4 Adult Foster Homes About the Position Sunset Serenity Care Home LLC is seeking a dependable, organized, and experienced Adult Foster Home Administrator / Compliance Coordinator to support the operations of our growing residential care homes. This position is ideal for someone who understands adult foster home operations, resident care documentation, staff compliance, and regulatory requirements and can work independently with strong attention to detail. The Administrator will provide administrative oversight and compliance support across up to four homes , while Resident Managers and caregivers remain responsible for the day-to-day operation and direct care within each home. Key Responsibilities Weekly Home Audits The Administrator will conduct a weekly review of each assigned home, which may include: Review resident documentation and required records Review medication documentation and MARs Review incident reports and follow-up documentation Review care-plan documentation and updates Check staff documentation for completeness and accuracy Review staff schedules and coverage Check required training and certification records Identify missing or incomplete documentation Review home cleanliness, organization, and safety concerns Follow up with Resident Managers regarding identified issues Document audit findings and corrective actions Monthly Compliance Review A comprehensive monthly compliance review will be completed for each home, including: Employee files and required documentation Background check and employment records Training and certification expiration dates Resident records and required documentation Medication records and related documentation Care plans and service documentation Emergency and safety documentation Required inspections, logs, and records Staff scheduling and staffing compliance Review of previous audit findings and corrective actions Identification of upcoming expiration dates and compliance deadlines The Administrator will maintain a compliance tracking system for all homes and ensure that identified issues are followed up on and resolved. Staff & Operational Support The Administrator may also be responsible for: Communicating with Resident Managers regarding operational concerns Assisting with staff scheduling and coverage issues Monitoring employee training requirements Tracking employee certifications and expiration dates Assisting with onboarding documentation Reviewing employee files Coordinating required training Following up on incomplete documentation Assisting with staff performance and compliance concerns Communicating important policy updates to staff Helping prepare homes for licensing inspections Staffing Coverage In the event of a staffing shortage, the Administrator may be required to provide temporary onsite coverage , including live-in coverage for multiple consecutive days, until a qualified replacement is available. This may include assisting with resident care and daily home operations as needed. Resident & Care Oversight The Administrator will not replace the Resident Manager's role but will provide administrative oversight and support by: Reviewing resident documentation Monitoring compliance with established care plans and procedures Following up on appointments and required documentation Reviewing incident reports Identifying documentation or care concerns requiring follow-up Communicating significant concerns to the Licensee Supporting consistent care standards across all homes On-Call Responsibilities This is a part-time, on-call administrative position . The Administrator may be contacted outside scheduled administrative hours for urgent operational or compliance matters. On-call availability does not mean the employee is expected to perform unpaid work. All time worked must be accurately reported and compensated in accordance with applicable wage and hour requirements. The Administrator should be able to respond promptly to urgent situations and communicate effectively with Resident Managers, caregivers, the Licensee, and other appropriate parties.
