(three days in office, two days remote) Client Our client is an established financial technology company operating regulated securities markets and trading platforms used by leading broker-dealers. Its marketplaces serve companies ranging from early-stage startups to large global enterprises. Across its trading, market data, and corporate services businesses, the company provides the technology, information, and connectivity that help public markets operate more efficiently and transparently. The Role This is an entry-level position on the issuer services team, well suited to a recent graduate or early-career professional who wants hands-on experience in securities regulation and corporate disclosure. No prior securities experience is required. Full training is provided in marketplace rules, issuer due diligence, and disclosure requirements. Working under the guidance of senior team members, you will help evaluate companies applying to join the marketplace, monitor ongoing compliance, and work directly with issuers and their service providers.

You will:

Support the review and processing of issuer applications across the company's tiered markets, ensuring alignment with marketplace rules and standards Conduct background research on the officers, directors, and control persons of applicant companies Review financial reports, press releases, and corporate actions to confirm ongoing compliance Identify compliance gaps, communicate them to issuers, and track each one through to resolution Answer routine questions from issuers and service providers about qualification standards, disclosure requirements, and company offerings, escalating complex matters as needed Maintain accurate, secure issuer records Recommend improvements to internal qualification and compliance procedures Must-Have Qualifications Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience 0-2 years of experience in compliance, finance, accounting, or a related field Ability to research, fact-find, and critically analyze publicly traded companies Detail-oriented, with the discipline to follow specific procedural requirements Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse groups and organizational levels Comfort providing professional, service-oriented support by phone and email Self-motivated, fast learner, able to work both independently and as part of a team Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks at once Willingness to work in an open office setting Pluses Familiarity reading company financial reports and statements Experience with research tools or public databases, such as SEC EDGAR, news databases, or public records Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Interest in capital markets, securities regulation, or corporate disclosure Familiarity with FINRA, SEC, or state securities regulations
