$74,800.00 - $112,100.00 Job Purpose American Honda Finance Corporation (AHFC) is currently seeking a Regulations Analyst-Exams for our Compliance division. This Analyst position will support the administration and coordination of audit and exam processes including document collection, data analysis, tracking, monitoring, and preparation of responses to help ensure AHFC meets compliance expectations set by state and federal regulators, including state Attorneys General, the United States Department of Justice, and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). The Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Capital Markets, Service Centers, and business domains, to gather information, maintain examination records, support remediation tracking, and assist with process improvements that promote AHFC's continued adherence to consumer compliance laws, regulations, and internal standards. Key Accountabilities Key Accountabilities include but are not limited to: Support state and federal examinations, and AHM audits Consistently maintain cutting edge knowledge of potential legal and regulatory changes Actively engage tools and resources to monitor, analyze, research, investigate, issues concerning the prioritization of AHFC compliance risk Maintain knowledge of AHFC business operations and compliance processes Support special projects as requested by management Maintain and support compliance-related inboxes and operational processes Qualifications, Experience, and Skills We are looking for qualified people with diverse backgrounds and experiences, open minds, and a disciplined work ethic. To bring the future to Honda as a Regulations Exams Analyst, you must have:
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, and six (6) years' experience in financial institution in a related industry with two (2) of those years working directly with audit and examinations
Minimum Experience:
Project planning or change management experience a plus Excellent organizational and time management skills a must Superior oral and written communication skills Attention to detail Strong legal research and legal analytical skills
Other Job Specific Skills:
Experience working with legal counsel Proficient in MS Windows (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
