Columbia, SC Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Office experience Full Job Description The Compliance Specialist is responsible for working directly with the site staff to promote and meet the compliance goals of all CMI managed properties. The Compliance Specialist regularly reviews monthly reports and certifications to ensure the properties are following State and Federal Agency regulations. The Compliance Specialist serves as a resource to property managers by answering compliance questions, reviewing documentation, monitoring deadlines, and providing guidance on proper procedures. The position requires strong attention to detail, organization, follow-through, and the ability to interpret and apply affordable housing regulations. Minimum two (2) years working within an office environment with regular interaction and consultation with other team members. Bachelor's degree in a related field such as real estate, management, finance, business or accounting, preferred Preferred Skills Knowledge of affordable housing federal program requirements and procedures to include, but not limited to, USDA, RD, HUD, HOME and Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program compliance
