Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Knowledge of the principles, practices, theories, and terminology of accounting, budgeting, and fiscal management
- Knowledge of or demonstrated ability to understand federal and state fiscal accounting processes and regulatory matters
- Knowledge of or demonstrated ability to understand higher education and state government fiscal accounting processes
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data and reports
- Detail oriented, with the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize effectively
- Ability to problem-solve and research effectively
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbal and written. Preferred Qualifications
- PeopleSoft or other ERP experience
- Higher education experience
- Audit experience
