Our expertise spans the installation of a wide range of home improvement products, making us one of the largest providers of millwork labor in the USA. Position Purpose The primary purpose of the Compliance Specialist is to review, verify, and ensure the accuracy of client-submitted door designs against exact field measurements captured by RFI installers. Acting as a technical quality gatekeeper, this individual contributor role ensures seamless installation execution by catching and resolving dimensional discrepancies before project staging. Additionally, the role provides supplemental support to the Operations Compliance Manager with general compliance, system audits, and regulatory tracking.
Primary Responsibilities:
Door Design & Measurement Review Design & Dimension Verification:
Evaluate incoming client door designs, blueprints, and architectural drawings for precision, constructibility, and scope alignment.
Field Measurement Cross-Referencing:
Rigorously compare client-provided specifications against exact field measurements captured by RFI installers to catch sizing errors or structural conflicts.
Discrepancy Resolution:
Identify dimensional mismatches, architectural gaps, or design anomalies, coordinating swiftly with clients, field installers, and internal operations to resolve issues.
Pre-Installation Clearance:
Ensure all door projects meet technical layout requirements and safety standards to guarantee smooth customer installation experience.
Supplemental Responsibilities:
Compliance & Operations Support System and Document Audits:
Process and run daily export audits using Excel and Data Loader; track and trend documents and work orders in the CRM system.
Contractor Credentialing Support:
Assist with background checks through First Advantage or badge processing as needed.
Licensing & Research:
Support state/local contractor license tracking or new market research components when operational bandwidth allows.
General Support:
Coordinate data with Operations and Management; perform other administrative duties as requested by the Operations Compliance Manager.
Skills & Qualifications Experience:
Prior compliance or technical review experience required; direct experience reading blueprints, architectural drawings, or door/window shop specifications is strongly preferred.
Technical Aptitude:
Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (specifically advanced Excel for data tracking), with exceptional spatial awareness and numerical accuracy.
Organizational Skills:
Deadline-oriented with strong time management, solid organizational skills, and a meticulous attention to detail.
Communication:
Good verbal and written communication skills; able to speak confidently in front of management and cross-functional teams.
Professional Attributes:
Self-motivated, able to work well under pressure, and strict adherence to confidentiality.
Requirements:
Reliable transportation; must pass a background check and drug test initiatives.
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.04 per hour
