State Licensing and Quality Coordinator Bay Ltd. - 3.7 Corpus Christi, TX Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Customer communication High school diploma or GED Continuous quality improvement (CQI) Full Job Description The State Licensing and Quality Coordinator is responsible for ensuring organizational compliance with state licensing regulations, accreditation standards, and internal quality assurance programs. This role coordinates licensing activities, monitors regulatory compliance, supports quality improvement initiatives, prepares for audits and inspections, and works collaboratively with leadership to maintain high standards of service delivery.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Coordinate initial applications, renewals, amendments, and maintenance of state licenses. Monitor federal, state, and local regulatory requirements and communicate changes to leadership. Maintain licensing records, permits, certifications, and compliance documentation. Ensure all required reports and submissions are completed accurately and on time. Serve as the primary liaison with state licensing agencies and regulatory bodies. Assist departments in maintaining compliance with licensing requirements. Maintain quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives log. Maintain internal compliance audits and quality review logs. Track corrective action plans and monitor completion. Support continuous quality improvement efforts across departments. Ensure compliance of all safety procedures and policies (including client's) while promoting the Company's safety culture. Maintain quality personnel training and certifications records. Prepare weekly and monthly reports. Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Experience preparing for state licensing surveys or accreditation inspections preferred. Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies and regulatory standards.SKILLS / KEY COMPETENCIES
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and employees at all levels. Excellent organizational and project management skills. Must be proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. High attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Understanding of state licensing regulations and compliance requirements preferred. Knowledge of quality assurance and continuous quality improvement principles preferred. Experience using compliance or quality management software is a plus. Must be able to work non-routine hours, when necessary. Ability and willingness to travel as required for out-of-town travel assignments.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Will work in an office indoor setting Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer. Occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 20 pounds. Constantly perform repeating motions that may include feet, leg, wrists, hands and/or fingers. Frequently communicate with other members of the team. Must be able to exchange accurate information in a clear manner. Ability to travel occasionally to company locations or regulatory meetings, as required.
