Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM (Full-Time)

Purpose of Position:
As a Compliance Specialist at West Shore Home, you will support the implementation of ongoing risk assessment processes and determine compliance with federal and state laws by working closely with in-house and outside counsel and numerous state and local authorities to prepare applications for various business licenses and operational permits across the country.
Key Role Accountabilities:
Assist the Compliance Manager with obtaining state licenses and keeping up to date with state licensing requirements, renewals, and expirations. Tracks and ensures timely renewals of all applicable operational permits and licenses prior to expiration by maintaining open lines of communication with state and local authorities to expedite requests. Review advertising and marketing materials for compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, including but not limited to FTC and FCC regulations and state consumer protection law. Approve marketing materials, including consumer finance disclosures, for use and distribution. Assist with development of policies and procedures to conform to relevant state, federal and/or industry standards and requirements and coordinate efforts with appropriate departmental staff to ensure implementation. Conduct audits, analyze information, identify deficiencies and non-compliance, develop reports, and formulate recommendations to executive team and departmental leaders for corrective action and training opportunities for sales personnel. Develop and conduct training for In-Home Sales Representatives regarding consumer finance compliance. Audit compliance training reports to ensure all sales personnel have completed the required training.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. The company does not and will not sponsor employment visas. 4+ years of experience working in a compliance related field. (Legal, Regulatory Affairs, Risk Management, GRC, GDPR, SOX, FAR/DFAR, ITAR, ISO, etc) Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to propose solutions that are both legally compliant and consistent with business plans and strategies. Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and attracted to challenging opportunities within a rapidly growing business.
