Make an Impact Fossil Group is seeking a motivated Customs Analyst to join our Logistics & Trade Compliance team. In this role, you will ensure that products shipped and received by our distribution centers comply with U.S. and international trade regulations through classifications, Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) shipment admissions, inventory reconciliation, and customs entry supervision. An ideal candidate will possess a strong drive to grow and develop in the Customs Compliance field, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle time-sensitive documentation. What you will do in this role: Determine and assign accurate HTSUS classifications for imported products to ensure compliance with customs regulations and duty requirements. Support daily transactional activities, including customs entry filings (e.g., CBP Forms 3461 and 7501), generating ad-hoc reports, and keeping internal databases up to date. Assist the Trade Compliance Department with critical activities, including Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) shipment admissions and inventory level checks. Review, audit, and approve Customs Admissions (e.g., CBP Forms 214 and 7501), and perform post-entry audits to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance. Maintain accurate trade compliance records and internal databases in accordance with 19 CFR regulations. Act as a key contact for customs brokers, internal teams, and external partners while coordinating with government agencies (such as U.S. Fish & Wildlife Services) as required. Who You Are Required Qualifications 1-3 years of Trade Compliance experience, including customs entry filings, HTSUS classification, and internal auditing. Working knowledge of FTZ, C-TPAT, and 19 CFR regulations. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) or successful completion of the Customs Broker License Examination (CBLE) with licensure pending. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Microsoft Access and SAP is a plus.
