Richmond, VA Job Details Full-time $44,896 - $56,120 a year 5 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Driver's License Full Job Description Position Summary The Compliance Specialist supports the organization's Compliance and Enterprise Risk Management programs by assisting with the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of compliance initiatives. This position conducts reviews, audits, and assessments to ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, contractual requirements, and applicable regulatory standards. The Compliance Specialist analyzes findings, prepares reports for management, and provides guidance and training to support a culture of compliance and risk awareness throughout the organization. Essential Duties (Other duties within the scope of this position may be assigned.) 1. Conduct reviews, inspections, and audits of financial, operational, governmental, and vocational records, programs, and activities to evaluate compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and organizational standards. 2. Document audit findings and recommendations, track corrective actions, monitor progress toward resolution, and prepare trend analyses and summary reports for management review. 3. Provide technical assistance, guidance, and training to managers and staff regarding compliance requirements, policies, procedures, and best practices. 4. Maintain accurate records, audit documentation, and supporting materials in accordance with organizational standards and applicable requirements. 5. Collaborate with departments across the organization to promote compliance awareness, improve processes, and support continuous quality improvement initiatives. Supervisory Responsibilities The associate in this position does not have any supervisory responsibilities. Education/Experience/Certificates/Security Clearance High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred. 1-3 Years' experience in a related field preferred. No professional certifications are required for this position. Valid state driver's license, insurance and satisfactory driving record are required. Associates in this position will be required to successfully pass both state and federal criminal background checks and sex offender check. Ability to operate PC and databases, proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
