Job Description

Employee-Owned Bank! Join a team where your work matters and your contributions help drive our success. We're seeking a Credit Analyst who is analytical, detail-oriented, and ready to make an impact. This position can be located in either Phelps or Greene County

Summary of Position Responsible for the completion of loan credit analysis for new and existing projects by performing the following duties. Essential Job Functions (Other duties may be assigned)
Financial Monitoring:
  • Track and maintain current financial information for commercial relationships.
Credit Analysis & Loan Review:
  • Prepare spreadsheets and written financial reports to assist lenders and management in making informed credit decisions.
  • Within six months of hire, independently prepare written analyses for: All commercial loans Large aggregate lending to one borrower Complex and underperforming credits
  • Systematically audit credit files for adequacy and deficiencies, report findings to the Director of Credit.
Loan Ratings & Risk Monitoring:
  • Determine loan ratings and maintain the watch list
  • Prepare the Current Expected Credit Loss report
Reporting:
  • Prepare and disseminate: Technical exception reports, Non-conforming loan reports, Concentration of credit reports
Appraisal & Collateral Oversight:
  • Prepare property appraisal review reports
  • Conduct collateral inspections for construction, equipment, and inventory.
Consumer Loan Oversigh t:
  • Assist with quality control audits on consumer loans.
Regulatory Preparation:
  • Support preparation for internal and external audits and regulatory examinations.
Committee Participation:
  • Attend loan committee meetings regularly to present findings and support decision-making.
Community Reinvestment Act:
  • Maintain CRA-related files and documentation, including loan data, investment records, and service logs
  • Assist in preparing CRA performance evaluations and regulatory exam materials
  • Compile reports on community development loans, qualified investments, and services by geographic area and activity type Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 1-3 years related banking experience and/or training preferred.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required Skills
  • Must be a self-starter who can complete tasks with little-to-no supervision. Must demonstrate a team-first attitude and voluntarily answer phone calls, respond to emails, and complete variable tasks.
  • Reading and interpreting various documents and policies, writing reports, and communicating effectively and appropriately with colleagues and customers.
  • Strong fundamental mathematical skills and attention to detail.
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting practical problems.
  • Ability to learn new tools, software, and equipment at a fast pace. Physical Requirements
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Pay:
From $20.00 per hour
