Job Description

Credit Analyst I Peoples Bank United States, North Carolina, ton Sep 16, 2026 Description Develops and analyzes all types of credit information pertaining to diverse types of commercial loans; assists in preparing periodic reports for use by management. Assists in the preparation and maintenance of commercial credit files for external loan review.

Qualifications Required Education/Knowledge:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year university

Knowledge of bank credit policy and procedures

Superior knowledge of commercial loan documentation requirements, regulations and Bank policy

Understanding of credit underwriting issues associated with a wide variety of business

Preferred Education/Knowledge:

Knowledge of other areas of bank operations

Required Experience:

0 to 2 years' experience in a lending environment of a financial institution

Previous loan documentation and underwriting experience

Preferred Experience:

Previous loan documentation and underwriting experience

Required Skills:

Proficiency with PC including Word and Excel

Calculator skills

Well-developed communication skills

Ability to deal with customers, co-workers and attorneys

Ability to spread and analyze financial statements and tax returns (beneficial)
