Job Description
Primary responsibilities include:
Fulfill underwriting requirements while providing accurate, timely and conclusive credit memos Perform due diligence on prospective borrowers and new opportunities and assist in preparing the initial reviews Coordinates work with, Credit Risk Management and other groups, promoting consistent quality and conciseness of credit documents and streamlining work flow among underwriting, credit approval and Credit Risk Management Participates and contributes in credit approval discussions Participates in joint client calls with relationship managers, clients and advisors. Performs timely covenant compliance and collateral valuation updates Assists relationship managers in working with internal and external legal counsel reviewing and ensuring accuracy of credit agreements Assists relationship managers in loan structuring to win without undue risk to Bank Understand and comply with all U.S. Bank Credit Policies and Procedures Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience Three to five years of relevant experience Preferred Skills/Experience Thorough credit underwriting knowledge with experience in complex individual underwriting. Thorough understanding of credit standards, policies, procedures, government agency compliance (Reg B, H, O, etc.) IPF product experience preferred but not required Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Well-developed written communication and verbal presentation skills Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships Has aptitude to work on several time sensitive deals, projects and tasks at one time in a fast paced environment. $92,820.00 - $109,200.00 U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
