Part-Time Truck Driver (CDL-A)- Will be home every night,all local routes between Portland and Salem

Job Description Scenic Fruit Company, a family owned company for over 90 years is the oldest berry processor in the Northwest. We are currently seeking an energetic and hard-working individual to join our team. We are seeking an experienced full-time Class-A CDL driver. Drivers travel throughout the Portland/ Salem area performing transfer loads between locations. No touch freight. Home every night, all local routes between Portland and Salem. Essential Functions Maintain records, logs and inspection; reports appropriate information and incidents. Drives safely following all state and local laws. Responsible for doing vehicle/ trailer safety checks Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of tractor/ trailer. Ensures that trailers are loaded safely and properly landed. Inspects and secures load. Must maintain consistent, predictable, and satisfactory attendance and punctuality as scheduled.

Qualifications:

Must be 21 years of age or older. Two years of CDL -Class A experience. Physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle pursuant to DOT regulations. Must have a valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving record. Must maintain medical certification for CDL-Class A. Ability to pass a drug screen and a background check

Pay Rate:
