Job Description
We are looking for a Credit Analyst to support a manufacturing organization in Andrews, South Carolina on a part-time Contract basis. This role is expected to work approximately 15 to 25 hours per week and will focus on evaluating customer creditworthiness and supporting commercial collections activity. The ideal candidate brings sound judgment, strong analytical skills, and the ability to make informed credit decisions while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Assess customer credit profiles by reviewing financial information, trade data, bank references, and other relevant sources to determine risk exposure.
- Establish and adjust credit limits based on analysis findings, payment history, and overall account standing.
- Manage commercial collections activities by following up on outstanding balances and working with customers to secure timely payment.
- Review credit applications for accuracy and completeness before making recommendations or decisions on account approval.
- Monitor existing accounts for changes in risk and identify situations that may require revised terms or closer oversight.
- Maintain clear documentation of credit evaluations, collection efforts, and account decisions to support compliance and reporting.
