Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Credit Risk Officer to join our team in the Fort Worth area. This pivotal role involves evaluating and managing credit risk within various commercial banking product areas, ensuring compliance with organizational standards while fostering strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing loan portfolios, making sound credit decisions, and thriving in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Review and approve loans, credit limits, modifications, amendments, and waivers for commercial banking relationships, with responsibility for credit approval limits up to $20 million. Evaluate loan structures to ensure appropriate product selection and credit levels aligned with organizational standards. Monitor multiple lending teams and portfolios for credit risk issues, including exception reporting, past dues, compliance with loan agreements, trend analysis, and detection of emerging risks. Verify the completeness and accuracy of proposed loan packages, ensuring they meet credit standards. Provide guidance to lending teams on improving loan packages and overall credit quality. Collaborate with various product groups such as loans, treasury management, and global trading services to review credit requests across different exposures. Act as a knowledgeable resource to support credit education initiatives and promote best practices. Maintain efficient delivery of credit risk management services to enhance customer experience, both internally and externally. Uphold the organization's values by consistently demonstrating integrity, caring, and excellence in all actions to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting. Over 10 years of banking experience, including formal credit training or equivalent expertise in credit analysis and secured lending. Proven success in managing loan portfolios and making credit risk decisions through various economic cycles. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office applications. Preferred Qualifications Over 15 years of banking experience, including experience as a relationship manager.
