Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Credit Analyst to join our dynamic team at Brighton Bank. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assessing and evaluating the creditworthiness of individuals and businesses, ensuring responsible lending practices, and maintaining the overall financial health of the bank.
Responsibilities:
Credit Analysis:
Conduct comprehensive credit analysis for loan applications, including reviewing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documents to assess the risk associated with each application.
Risk Assessment:
Evaluate the credit risk of prospective and existing customers, considering factors such as financial stability, industry trends, and economic indicators.
Financial Modeling:
Develop and utilize financial models to analyze financial data, assess cash flow, and project future performance to make informed credit decisions.
Collaboration:
Work closely with loan officers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information, address inquiries, and ensure a thorough understanding of credit-related matters.
Regulatory Compliance:
Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements throughout the credit evaluation process.
Recommendations:
Provide well-founded credit recommendations to senior management based on the analysis of financial data, industry trends, and risk assessment. Qualifications Proven experience in credit analysis within the banking or financial services industry. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and risk assessment. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices in credit analysis. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in the use of financial analysis tools and software.
