30-40 day contract Make an Impact in a Fast-Paced Finance Team Are you an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working with accounts receivable, cash applications, invoicing, collections, and financial reporting ? This is a great opportunity to step into a hands-on Accounting & Credit Specialist role where your attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills will make an immediate impact. What You'll Do Accounts Receivable & Credit Generate invoices and review invoice commissions for accuracy. Upload invoices daily to customer portals, including manual invoice entries. Process cash receipts, checks, and ACH payments. Record and reconcile banking transactions. Investigate and resolve cash receipt discrepancies, short payments, and pricing disputes. Manage collection communications and assist with resolving outstanding account issues. Prepare standard price and quantity discrepancy credits with appropriate documentation. Process RMA settlement memos. Monitor and respond to remittance-related inquiries. Create proforma invoices for Cash-in-Advance (CIA) accounts and maintain appropriate documentation. Release shipments on standard net-term accounts once past-due balances have been paid. Assist with ineligibles and accounts receivable collection reporting. Ensure daily bank deposits are processed accurately and on time. Compile financial reporting details, including sales, margins, bookings, and labor. Accounts Payable & Administrative Support Upload AP invoices into the system for processing. Provide backup support for sales order entry. Assist with front desk coverage during lunches and employee absences. Support front desk activities, including visitor assistance and MRB notes. Take on additional finance and administrative responsibilities as needed. What We're Looking For Previous experience in accounts receivable, credit, accounting, or a related finance role . Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Comfortable working with invoices, payments, banking transactions, and account discrepancies. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to investigate issues, identify discrepancies, and follow them through to resolution. Professional written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working independently while also supporting a larger finance team. Strong computer skills and the ability to learn internal systems quickly. Why Consider This Opportunity?
