Job Description:
The Cash Application Specialist is responsible for the timely and accurate application of customer payments to their accounts or inter-company transfer, resolution of exceptions, reconciliation of variances, and coordinating with other teams and external customers to ensure customer accounts are complete and accurate.
Duties:
ACH, Lockbox and Credit Card Posting within company's established SLAs Assist customers and internal teams in the reconciliation of customer accounts Heavy reconciliation of unapplied cash Responding to Cash Application email distribution Respond to all inquiries for various departments in a timely fashion Customer and departmental outreach for remit and application information Monthly Credit Card Charges Intercompany transfers and GL Reconciliation Various additional projects
Requirements:
2-5 years in an Accounts Receivable role. Heavy focus on cash applications or credit card posting for commercial accounts, reconciliations, research, and resolution Must be able to multitask, with excellent organizational abilities & attention to detail Excellent computer skills, including advanced MS Excel (pivot tables, v lookups, formulas, etc.) Can work at a fast pace Must be a quick learner and easily adapt to change Strong communication and exceptional interpersonal skills; be a team player SAP experience is highly preferred High School Diploma Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $23.00 - $25.00
