Under the supervision of the Dean of Dual Credit, the Dual Credit Specialist manages the day-to-day activities and operations of maintaining admissions, student records, enrollment, communication, and credential tracking for the dual credit student population. The Dual Credit Specialist provides technical information and assistance to students, high school counselors, and the dual credit department concerning registration, enrollment, student records, and the accurate reporting of credential information to appropriate college offices. This position operates in alignment with applicable admissions processes, Registrar standards for student records, institutional data standards, and required confidentiality practices to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance for dual credit student records.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide technical expertise to maintain the day-to-day operations of the dual credit admissions process: Manage the onboarding process of dual credit students. Connect students with the appropriate dual credit coordinator. Manage reports for data points and completion rates of the dual credit student population. Provide technical expertise to maintain day-to-day operations of the Dual Credit Specialist duties: Update and manage the dual credit student records (i.e., address changes, verification of status, test scores, transcript evaluation, etc.). Manage student enrollment in courses after open registration period. Manage and maintain day-to-day communication with dual credit students through the onboarding process. Manage the dual credit application portal and process applications as needed. Prepare and manage all Financial Aid for Swift Transfer (FAST) reports, tracking, and communication. Work with various college offices to prepare, verify, and validate all reports related to dual credit students. Create, maintain, and protect dual credit student academic records in the institutional student information system, ensuring completeness, accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with FERPA, institutional standards, and applicable state and federal regulations. Coordinate with the Registrar's Office throughout the dual credit completion process to maintain consistent student record practices, resolve discrepancies, and support standardization of record-related procedures. Assist the dual credit department with special projects and perform all other related duties as assigned. Service area travel may be required.

Experience in environments with frequent student contact and demanding schedules and timelines. Ability to meet deadlines. Knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations (e.g., FERPA, state reporting requirements).
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
High school diploma. Minimum of three years' experience in admissions and/or records functions at a college or university.
Preferred:
Associate's degree Minimum of two years' experience in admissions and/or records functions at a college or university.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Variances from regular working hours may be necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position. Busy working environment with numerous interruptions.
SALARY:
Commensurate with education and experience (this is a 12 month position to be paid over 12 months)
