Provides account information by phone, in person or via Internet on a full range of credit union products and services, including loans. Provides information on loan program types, terms, rates and conditions. Gathers background information and analyzes loan applicants' credit history. Informs and advises members of the most appropriate financing options available. Knowledge and Skill Requirements Prefer an AA degree, but minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent Must be bondable/insurable Detail Oriented with strong organizational skills Strong problem-solving and time-management skills Duties require professional oral and written communication Possess an ability to interact effectively with Clearpath CU members, co-workers, and management Basic reading and arithmetic skills Computer literate, with the ability to learn customer service software applications Requires the ability to read, speak, and write English fluently Must present a professional appearance Physical/Mental Requirements Possess an aptitude to handle stressful situations Capable of performing simple and complex tasks Ability to comprehend/follow instructions, given both verbally and orally Ability to maintain an appropriate clean and organized work space Repetitive hand/finger action Capacity to prioritize workload and multi-task Normal vision and hearing Capable of operating various electrical office equipment Job requires standing and some sedentary work, consisting of occasional walking, and lifting up to 30 pounds Essential Job Functions Provides prompt, efficient and accurate services in the processing of member transactions, in- person, by phone, or by mail Promote Credit Union products and services based on member's specific needs Portfolio management and outside sales Assist the Commercial Loan Officer and Commercial Lending Department with packaging and processing business loans Review loan applications to ensure all required documents have been received from the borrower Review loan documents to ensure accuracy and completion Scanning and maintaining all commercial loan files Scanning and maintaining all loan participation files with various Lead Lenders Assist with the annual review process of all commercial loans and loan participations Assist with renewal process of all commercial loans Perform pre-funding audit to ensure all closing conditions are met and all loan documents are signed and executed Perform post-funding audit to ensure receipt of all closing documents, recorded documents, title policy, etc., and that all post funding conditions have been met Assist with various processing duties including ordering credit reports, insurance verification, etc. Assist with contacting various third-party vendors to open escrow, order preliminary title reports, order appraisal and environmental reports, etc. Maintain a clear understanding of Clearpath policies related to Business Lending and Loan Participations Other duties as assigned Accountability 1. Uphold Clearpath CU Standards 2. Comply with all credit union policies and procedures 3. Have a broad working knowledge of Clearpath CU products, services and departmental interactions 4. Answers phone calls with a highly professional manner 5. Achievement of acceptable attendance and time management standards (i.e. absences, tardiness, breaks, and proper use of work time) Working Conditions Working conditions are normal for an office/bank environment
