Thank you for considering the following position in your job search. We are currently seeking a Mortgage Loan Servicing Specialist for a credit union located in Santa Clarita, CA !

Responsibilities:
Responsible for daily cash management activities including posting payments for mortgage loans. Initiating and submitting wire transfers. Prepares reconveyances after loan payoffs. Process daily funds transfer requests for payments, payoffs, and escrow disbursements. Balances new loan files from sub-servicer. Reviews paid-off loan reports and sets up and removes auto-pay for both new and existing loans. Answer member and internal customer calls regarding mortgage loan servicing. Serves as a liaison with subs-servicer regarding member loan adjustments, concerns, and credit bureau disputes. Tracks and fulfills outstanding documentation requests from title companies and county recorders. Fulfill document requests for paid-in-full loans. Answer member and internal customer calls regarding mortgage loan servicing. Prepares reconveyance documents daily for 1st and 2nd Trust Deeds and weekly for Home Equity Lines of Credit. Prepares loan demands for Home Equity loans including processes payoffs and coordinates with title and escrow companies. Ship reconveyance packages to designated trustees promptly. Maintains updated insurance records and communicates with insurance companies. Processes Subordinations, Re-amortizations, and Title and Escrow requests. Audits ARM loan adjustments to ensure accurate change dates and interest rate recalculations.
Requirements:
3-5 years of real estate / mortgage loan servicing and financial institution experience. Experience processing subordinations and re-amortizations, and preparing reconveyances. Clear working knowledge of title and escrow for mortgage / real estate loans. Knowledge of Mortgage Servicing Systems. Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office products. Experience using Symitar or other related core banking systems. Bachelor's degree preferred.
