Sterling, Colorado Position Overview:
The Loan Data & Origination Specialist is a credit support position responsible for accurate entry, maintenance, and verification of borrower, financial, collateral and loan information throughout the lending process. Working closely with VP-Credit Operations, Loan Officers, and Credit Analysts, this position supports loan origination by entering and maintaining information within the Association's loan origination system, nCino, and other applicable systems. The Specialist helps ensure information used for credit analysis and loan decision-making is complete, accurate, consistent, and properly maintained. Responsibilities continue beyond loan approval and closing through ongoing database maintenance, data-quality review, and special projects. This position provides an opportunity to develop foundational knowledge of agricultural lending, financial information, credit analysis, and loan operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and comfortable working with computer systems, financial information, and confidential customer information.
Key Responsibilities:
Loan Origination & Credit Support Enter and maintain borrower, financial, collateral, and loan information in nCino and other Association systems, working with Loan Officers and Credit Analysts to gather and organize information needed for loan requests and credit analysis. Review loan applications and supporting information for completeness and consistency; identifying missing, incomplete, or conflicting data, and working with the appropriate Loan Officer or Credit Analyst to resolve outstanding items. Complete data entry and system setup for new loans, renewals, loan servicing requests, and other loan actions. Assist with the preparation of loan narratives, credit approval requests, and other required loan-origination data. Data Quality & Ongoing Maintenance Maintain accurate borrower and loan information throughout the life of the lending relationship, including post-approval and post-closing updates. Review system records and reports to identify and correct incomplete, inaccurate, or inconsistent information. Maintain and update borrower, financial, collateral, and loan records to ensure information is accurate, complete, and consistent across lending systems. Assist with ongoing portfolio and database maintenance, including system cleanup, reconciliations, and resolution of recurring data issues or process gaps. Administrative & Operational Support Assist with reporting, data reconciliation, system maintenance, and special projects supporting credit and lending operations. Support process and system improvements that are designed to increase data accuracy, consistency, and efficiency. Provide backup support for credit and lending functions and complete other credit operations projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field preferred. Previous experience in banking, financial services, lending, administrative support, data entry, or a related field preferred, but not required. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, with the ability to identify inconsistencies, research discrepancies, and follow issues through resolution. Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn and effectively use software applications, databases, and other technology. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and follow established process through completion. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Comfortable working with numbers, financial information, and detailed records while maintaining a high-level of confidentiality and professionalism. Agricultural knowledge or experience is a plus.

Competitive compensation:
Base salary range of $40,000-$45,000, plus eligibility for a team bonus. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. This range is a good-faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

401(k) plan with a 3% employer contribution and a 6% employer match.
