We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and growth-minded professional to open and service accounts, identify financial needs, develop relationships, and originate and process consumer loans. Our small-team environment provides broad experience and the opportunity to make a visible difference.WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Open and service memberships and accounts and explain products, services, and benefits.
- Assist members with account maintenance, electronic services, transactions, questions, and problem resolution.
- Use needs-based conversations and proactive follow-up to identify deposit, lending, and electronic-service solutions.
- Interview applicants and originate, process, close, and disburse consumer loans within assigned authority and procedures.
- Review application information, credit reports, income, debts, collateral, and required documentation.
- Support membership growth, relationship outreach, teller coverage, and other needs of a small, cross-trained team.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with policies, internal controls, security standards, BSA, AML, OFAC, fair-lending, and other requirements.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- A genuine interest in helping people and building long-term relationships.
- Strong communication, listening, organization, accuracy, judgment, and follow-through.
- Credit union, banking, lending, loan-processing, or relationship-focused service experience is preferred.
- Account-opening, consumer-lending, credit-review, or financial-system experience is helpful; training is available for the right candidate.
- Professionalism, dependability, discretion, adaptability, and a team-first attitude.
