This role is essential to minimizing arrears, reducing write-offs, and ensuring compliance with credit policies, administrative rules, and regulatory standards. The Credit Representative will interact with customers, internal teams, and external agencies to effectively resolve escalated credit situations and maintain accurate account records. Key Responsibilities
- Review and take appropriate action on past due active and final accounts.
- Handle escalated customer contacts related to credit issues with professionalism and accuracy.
- Conduct credit review workflow exceptions in the customer service system (e.g., disconnection reviews, balance transfers, unpaid non-service items).
- Communicate with property owners, external agencies, and vendors regarding account status and collections.
- Notify and follow up with customers on final bills, payment arrangements, and balance transfers.
- Interpret and apply credit policies, tariffs, administrative rules, and regulatory requirements.
- Document and maintain accurate customer account records in the customer information system.
