Full-Time The Fountain Trust Company, a community bank with 20 locations across Indiana and eastern Illinois, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our Loan Operations team. The Loan Operations Representative will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth processing and servicing of loans, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of our loan operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Inquiries:
Respond promptly and accurately to customer loan inquiries, providing exceptional service and support.
Loan Transactions:
Assist bank staff and customers with various loan transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Loan Tracking:
Input and maintain loan information in the loan tracking system, ensuring data integrity and up-to-date records.
Workflow Adherence:
Ensure all loans follow established workflow processes and procedures, maintaining consistency and compliance.
Appraisal Management:
Order and review appraisals, coordinating with relevant parties to facilitate timely processing.
Closing Approvals:
Approve checks for loan closings, ensuring all necessary documentation is in place.
Escrow Management:
Manage escrow accounts, including the input and tracking of auto and homeowner's insurance, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Secondary Market Loans:
Oversee the servicing of secondary market loans, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
Documentation Tracking:
Assist with tracking required loan documentation, ensuring completeness and compliance.
File Imaging:
Scan and image loan files, maintaining organized and accessible records.
Regulatory Compliance:
Adhere to all applicable federal laws, regulations, and company policies, ensuring compliance in all aspects of loan operations.
Confidentiality:
Maintain customer confidentiality by safeguarding sensitive information.
Additional Duties:
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the loan operations team. Required Skills & Qualifications Attention to

High level of proficiency with email, Microsoft Office Suite, and internet applications.

Customer Service:
Ability to provide excellent customer service over the phone, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Education & Experience Preferred:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Alternative:
Equivalent banking, finance, or accounting experience may also be considered.
