Full Job Description Key Job Duties:
Fields member requests (primarily via phone or online channels) for credit or credit-related inquiries and identifies lending products which meet member needs. Exercises strong interpersonal skills to consistently achieve goals as well as to build member rapport, buy-in, and foster repeat business. Supplies information to the underwriting team in a consistent, coherent and quickly digestible format, enabling credit decisions to be made timely, and fostering an overall positive and expedient member experience. Cross-sells ancillary products and services such as credit insurance, Mechanical Breakdown, and GAP. Works with members to obtain any remaining documentation and to otherwise clear approval conditions. Suc hdocumentation could be related to income, employment, debts, collateral, etc. Is able to explain conditions and process to members in a straight-forward, comprehensible manner, aimed at achieving maximum results. Prepares and delivers (typically electronically) closing documentation to the member. Books and funds loans upon completion. Reviews executed documentation for completeness and ushers such documentation into the credit union's document retention system. Serves as a key player in assisting the credit union in maximizing lending opportunities by proactively working lead reports or other tools made available. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Three to five years of similar or related experience. High school education or GED. Ability to motivate or influence others. Excellent attention to detail. High degree of comfort with software and technological tools
